Steely McBeam...really?

Much to the dismay of many Steelers fan, and apparently the delight of a few others, the Steelers have added a team mascot this year. Personally I don't see why we don't just get some sexy cheerleaders instead, but whatever. What concerns me is the mascot's name...Steely McBeam. Apparently our mascot is a 70's pornstar with a fondness for happy meals(not too mention an eery resemblance to Bill Cowher). Even Stevie Steeler, the old mascot who was discontinued in the mid-90's, had a better name. Although admittedly, Stevie Steeler isn't exactly the most impressive moniker either. Making it even worse, the fans got to choose the name. That's right, 70,000+ fans were asked to submit names, and the best they could come up with is Steely McBeam.
