Why would anyone trade up to draft a punter? That's a question many people have been asking since the NFL Draft when the Steelers took Daniel Sepulveda in the 4th round. In his first preseason game, Sepulveda had 4 punts with an average of 40.5 yds(32.8 yds net), but if you really want to know why they took him, check out this video of him from his Baylor days.
Thats right, that's a punter laying a devasting hit during punt coverage. And it's not like the return man broke past everybody else and Sepulveda was the only defender left. No, he ran up and drilled the poor bastard with several of his teammates about to make a tackle. Now that's Steeler football. Who the hell needs Joey Porter and his bum knee when we've got the baddest punter in the league. And how long exactly does it take to live down being the guy in a youtube video getting laid out by a punter?
