Former Steeler Ernie Holmes died last night in a car accident near Beaumont Texas. The 59 year old defensive tackle played alongside, and in the shadow of, famed defensive linemen Joe Greene, Dwight White, and LC Greenwood as a member of the feared Steel Curtain Defense and took home two Super Bowl rings in 1975 and 1976.
