The End is Near

This is the first weekend without football since back in August, and with only one game left before a long summer broken up by only 728 mock drafts(and 1 real one) on ESPN, it's time to start figuring out how to handle the weekends. I know the lack of football is still fresh in your heart and the pain seems unbearable, but you know what they say: the best way to get over a broken heart is to score a fresh piece of ass. Here's your options...

Australian Open Womens Final

enough said. Check it out tonight at 9:30 ET

NBA Action

The Blazers came off their brutal 7 game road trip after going 3-4. Considering their road record the rest of the year, the length of the road trip, and the fact that their 4 losses came against three 1st place teams and a 2nd place team with a combined record of 112-55 I'd say they gotta be pretty happy with the results. Now the Blazers have 6 home games, starting with Yao Ming and Houston Rockets tonight and then the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

If that game doesn't do it for you, there are 12 other NBA games tonight, and 14 more on either Saturday or Sunday

NCAA Basketball

It's never too early to start working on that bracket. Who's in, who's on the bubble, who needs help. You can't expect to win the office pool in March if you don't start boning up on the who's who of college hoops now. Not that any of that will help when JoAnn down in accounting picks the teams with the prettiest uniforms and wins the whole thing again. But that doesn't mean that these games are any less exciting. 8 of the top 10 teams in the nation will play either Saturday or Sunday and with 153 games going on this weekend(I shit you not, I counted. That is amazing) and conference action in full swing there is bound to be some amazing games.

NHL All-Star Weekend

Even without Sidney Crosby, it's still worth tuning in to the NHL festivities this weekend. Check out the NHL Super Skills Competition tomorrow night and then the main event goes down on Sunday. If you ever wanted to see a bunch of Russians, Canadians, and Czechs(with a few Swedes thrown in for good measure) skating around and brawling, it doesn't get any better than this.
