It took less than two regular season quarters against a solid Pittsburgh defense for Browns quarterback Charlie Frye to lose his starting spot. After being sacked 5 times and intercepted once while throwing for only 34 yards in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Frye was benched in favor of Derek Anderson who didn't fare much better. On Tuesday, the Browns demoted him even further by trading him to the Seahawks. This will presumably move rookie Brady Quinn up to at least #2 in the depth chart.
UPDATE: Foxsports is reporting that the Seahawks received Frye for a 6th round draft pick. Pretty sure that means the Browns had to throw in a 6th rounder just to get Seattle to take him off their hands.
