Everett's Prognosis Improves!

Yesterday Kevin Everett is voluntarily moved both arms and legs yesterday while partially awake. This prompted Dr. Barth Green from the University of Miami School of Medicine to say "It's totally spectacular, totally unexpected." As I stated yesterday, neurosurgeons tend to be pretty pessimistic about spinal cord injuries. So when Green says "Based on our experience, the fact that he's moving so well, so early after such a catastrophic injury means he will walk again," you can bet that Everett's situation is looking promising. Great news for Kevin and his family!
