This won't help the pass rush

Pittsburgh Defensive End Aaron Smith is done for the season. Smith had to replaced several times in Sunday's loss to the Patriots and later tests revealed the tear. Since Pittsburgh uses more 3-4 defenses, Smith isn't used much as a pass-rusher, but he is an excellent run defender and by tying up offensive linemen, is key in the Steelers linebackers getting to the quarterback, something that hasn't happened nearly enough this season. Smith has been placed on injured reserve and the starting job will probably go to Nick Eason. Rookie Ryan McBean(No, not the mascot, that's McBeam, with an 'm') as also been promoted to the 53 man roster as well.
