Eight is Great!

Despite having played the 5th hardest schedule in the NBA up to this point, the Trailblazers are back above .500 and only 1.5 games out of the division lead after their 8th straight win. Despite a horrendous 42% team shooting percentage, and an even worse 1 for 12 effort by Outlaw, the Blazers beat the Hornets last night in the Rose Garden 88-76. The Blazers shot just 34% in the first half and had trouble containing Tyson Chandler on the boards throughout the game, but good defense allowed them to pull away in the second half. Brandon Roy continued his spectacular play with 24 points, including one catch-and-shoot 3 in the 4th that barely beat the shot clock and put them up by 5. The Blazers will get a chance to extend the streak to 9 games on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors.
