Jay Jensen's lips are safe

Jay Jensen is an athletic trainer for the Blazers. When training camp opened up last October, he heard Joel Przybilla bragging about how he was in the best shape of his career. Jensen laughed when Przybilla started telling everyone that he would play in all 82 games this year. Jensen had a point, Przybilla has missed a ton of games over due to injury, and in his 7 years in the NBA, has yet to play 82 games in a season. But this was a new and improved Joel Przybilla. With the drafting of Greg Oden, there were some question marks as to what Przybilla's role on the team would be, and he stepped up his offseason workouts. One thing led to another, and soon a wager was in place. If Joel failed to play in all 82 games, he had to buy dinner for Jay. But the other side of the bet is where things get entertaining. If Joel stayed healthy and didn't miss a game, Jensen would have to kiss Przybilla's ass at halfcourt at the conclusion of the Blazer's final game.

With just 6 games left going into Sunday's game against the Spurs, and Przybilla still healthy, Jensen had to have been getting worried. Luckily for him though, Przybilla will be forced to miss the final 5 games after breaking his hand in the Spurs game when his hand was smacked into the rim while attempting to block a shot in the 2nd quarter.
