Channing Frye's Blog

Last week in Bill Simmons links of the week, he had a link to Channing Frye's blog. For those that don't know, Frye is one of the newer Blazers that came over as part of the Zach Randolph exchange with the Knicks last year. He's been pretty solid this year, coming off the bench for LA and Przybilla, and getting some solid starts the last few games with Przybilla out. He's got some pretty funny stuff on there:

Talking about steroids and the report about the steroids bust involving a bunch hip-hop guys:

The whole “I can’t move my arms, I’m so big” look. Maybe the ‘roids help them with their music or their sport. Maybe that’s it. I could be confused — they might think that being that huge could get them girls. Guys: you’re rich ‘n famous already.

They wanted you any way you were.

And an excerpt from his review of the Alien vs Predator movie:

I went to see this movie because I really was like there is no way you can mess up this movie. Put the two aliens against the predators throw a few humans in there, let them die horribly, have a huge alien fight the best predator like cage match or something, give it a cool ending… simple. But no, really, the best analogy is like asking your mom or dad to make cereal and they mess it up - they give you a fork to eat it with and then they pour lemon juice in it to drink it
