Zach Duke picked up his first win of the season, beating the Reds 6-3 as the Bucs moved to 4-2 on the season. Duke had a respectable line, pitching 6 innings while allowing 3 runs and getting 5 k's. Freddie Sanchez, last years NL Batting Champ, started his season off right after being on the DL with a sprained knee by going 2 of 4 with a double and an RBI.
Pirates will get their first home series of the regular season when the World Champion Cardinals travel to Pittsburgh to face Ian Snell on Monday.
